Climate

Meaningful dialogue with clients is central to the approach of BDN Architects. By genuinely understanding clients needs, aspirations, and the unique context of each project, they guide them through the collaborative process.
Project
To develop a simple brand mark that represented the character of the company. In addition we created a responsive portfolio website that provides a platform for the architectural work of BDN Architects.
Brand Mark
The logo (ligature) is a combination of the letters B,D and N, placed together to form a memorable and recognisable brand mark. It was created using architectural blocks and works well in both black and white forms.
Website
When developing the BDN Architects website, we were keen to put the projects front and centre. Each project is represented with bold and eye-catching photography that showcases the design and materials that were used. The website has intuitive, easy to follow navigation on both desktop and mobile platforms.
Typography
We used Helvetica Neue as the typeface throughout all BDN Architects collateral. It is a simple and very legible font that positions the architectural work itself as the main focus.
Challenge
BDN Architects are based near Byron Bay in Northern New South Wales. As Cooke Creative is based in Melbourne, the distance between us was a slight challenge. Luckily the internet does exist and made our collaborative efforts that much easier.
