Logotype
We designed a typographic adaptation of the previous brandmark so as to not alienate their existing clients. The 'J' letter form and dark purple colour were retained and designed into a simple, bold logotype that works in positive, and reverse. For social media the J&Co. is placed within a circle to suit Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin.
Website Strategy and Design
To present Jelleff & Co. to artists, managers, promoters, agents, suppliers and venues, we developed the website around the musicians and global experience of the J&Co team. All bands have been represented, with the specific management and production required for each tour or event being described. Portraits of all recent, past, and historical artists, and events and specific tour promotional material, are included. The typeface used is Omnes Pro, a simple and very legible typeface that works well with the bespoke letter forms of the J&Co. logotype, and on mobile devices. Different weights and colours are used throughout the website to create interest.
challenges
Designing a simple web structure was key to developing the website. Jelleff & Co have many years of experience touring with live bands and live events, so there was a truckload of information to be included in the website. A simple yet effective way of categorising this information was paramount, for ease of navigation, by the viewer.
